update on my computer situation:
Backuped ALL THE THINGS
…and then discovered that my DVD reader also gave up the ghost and won’t read my windows installer dvd. (It was, however, a very old DVD thingie. 3 computers old to be exact.)
That means I’ll have to be creative to reinstall windows (because that’s what this is coming down to). USB DRIVER COME TO MY RESCUUUUE
